Online Lectures on Choral Music
The Department of Music Studies of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, and ‘Voci Contra Tempo’ Female Vocal Ensemble (ensemble-in-residence of the Music Studies Department) are jointly organizing a series of four (4) lectures (online), as part of a Choral Music Composition Workshop within the framework of Project ‘Patrida’.
The lectures are open to composers, conductors, choristers, musicologists and music teachers from schools, conservatories and universities, as well as to anyone who would like to attend. The participants of the lectures will have the chance to connect with some of the most significant living composers of choral music, most of whom have immense choral experience as both conductors as well as singers, with extensive repertoires, recording catalogues, and numerous awards in choral competitions.
Lectures will be held via Zoom. Official language is English.
