750 Years of Creativity and Inspiration

Calliope Tsoupaki’s new work “Another Day” is a tribute to her love for music, that drew her to Amsterdam.
Tsoupaki has lived in Amsterdam for more than 35 years. From 2018 to 2021, she was Composer Laureate (Componist des Vaderlands). The memory of her arrival in Amsterdam was the inspiration for the brand new commissioned work Another Day, written in conjunction with a poignant, evocative poem by Anneke Brassinga
